At the site of the former church, this baroque church was built 1761st. This baroque church was dedicated to the patron saint of city the bishop St. Nicholas. The church was built by the Varazdin builder Matt Mayerhofer, and was completed by Adam Poch. In parts of the Gothic tower from the 16th century was added remains of the ruins and town emblem with angel motif.
